I was afraid that it might break but so far i have had no problems with it breaking. I've used this clip for a while, and it works almost as good as the one that came from Verizon when i got my phone. My only problem with this clip is it seems to come unclipped from the phone sometimes, but because I clip it on the inside of my pocket, my phone just falls into my pocket.
It's advertised as an LG8300 holster but is probably a generic sold to fit many phones. This holster does not fit the LG8300. Also, Amazon and the manufacturer did not respond to my correspondence.
this is what I want - Verizon sells it for too much and it is easier to get it from Amazon
When I contacted the company to send me one that DOES fit, they sent me the EXACT same one that DOES NOT FIT the LG VX8300. This clip DOES NOT fit the LG VX8300. DO NOT BUY.
Within a week the portion that holds the phone in broke--which was why we replaced the prior clip, but it held out for 1-1/2 years. The phone doesn't snap in as securely as the prior model either. Unfortunately this belt clip didn't hold up for me. We could tell there was a modification in style, even though it had the same item number.
